Worship - Come Out of That Grave
Sunday Apr 04, 2021
Sunday Apr 04, 2021
On Easter, we celebrate the physical resurrection of Jesus. This changes everything, because Jesus invites us to come out of our graves and fully live. “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die.” (John 11:25-26)

What if the object of life was not to get our own way, but to find ourselves in God's way? There is simplicity in this understanding, but simple does not mean easy. Even Jesus wrestled with the Father's will in the garden.

Series Discussion - Fuse Breaker, pt. 4 & 5
Thursday Mar 25, 2021
Thursday Mar 25, 2021
Our podcast is back this week, as pastors Paul, Mara, and Josh discuss weeks 4 & 5 of our Fuse Breaker series. It is our hope that these conversations will inspire you to talk about our weekly teachings outside of Sunday morning services, because dialogue and study is an important part of being a Christ-centered community.
CHALLENGE: Using these discussions as a springboard, who can you reach out to this week for a bit of intentional conversation centered around the Lord's Prayer and the topics we've covered in this series of sermons? And if that's something you're already doing, how has your growth as a Christian been impacted by instigating further dialogue like this?

It's easy for our religion to simply become phrases we use. But in the Lord's Prayer, God invites us to rely on Him for our daily bread. It's not an otherworldly practice--He is invading our day to day life! "Your Kingdom come" is the recognition that God not only offers life after death, but life before death. He wants to a part of every detail of our life--not just the holy things. He has come to make our ordinary extraordinary.
